Every manager fears of employing the wrong person for the job. Aside from losing a lot of time and profit due to these kinds of employees. Looking for a new person to replace their spot is another grueling process again.

Because firms these days find it difficult to employ younger individuals without extensive experience yet still qualify due to their college degree and certificates. But businesses today have started using competency models to help them evaluate people who are new to the work force, so they do not shun away a potential long term employee.

The model of competency is not only used to differentiate the average from the high performing once. Because it saves them the time comparing one person against another. So most hiring managers find that setting up a model helps them eradicate the unnecessary ones, and keep the ones who have passed their criteria.

The reason why most companies employ uses competency layout because they are able to identify easily the individuals their company needs for its long term progress. However this could also isolate other applicants because the criteria within the layout would remove individuals who do not fit into this criteria. In essence, individuals who may not match the ideal type, but could prove useful to the firm itself will not have the chance to show their worth.

Then you need to understand that once you are employed for a specific job such as a position as a sales representative. From this position alone you are able to pick up skills aside from selling. Skills such as active listening, communication, knows how to handle objection, assertive, and good at closing deals.

Management often refers to potential abilities that could improve the chances of aspiring individuals to reach the position of manager within a group of people. This requires a person to lead, with a good judgment, and never leaves paperwork behind.

Because there is no one who can oversee these things. Though there are many people who can operate a computer, but those are simply the basics and no one can entirely understand everything.
